Description

Provide materials, equipment, labor, and transportation required to replace the mooring dolphin and catwalk at Wharf E, USCG Integrated Support Command, Sand Island, Honolulu, HI. Work includes demolition of existing mooring dolphin and catwalk and driving piles for new mooring dolphin and use of a crane to place the prefinished catwalk and bridge into place. All work shall be completed, with property ready for use no later than ninety (90) calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. This solicitation is issued under and the resulting contract awarded under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program (PL 100-656)(Unrestricted). The construction range is between $100,000 and $250,000. Only faxed or written requests for bid packages are acceptable. Telephone requests will not be honored. This notice is for informational purposes for minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged B! usiness Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
