- Description
- An A-76 cost comparison study is being conducted for specified services currently performed by Government personnel for Military Human Resources Services (Adjutant General (AG)), Fort Lewis, WA. The study is in accordance with OMB Circular A-76, Performanc e of Commercial Activities, to determine the most cost-effective mode of operation, i.e., continued performance by Government employees or by a contract performed by a commercial entity. A contract will not be awarded if Government performance is determin ed to be more advantageous. Contractor shall plan, program, administer, manage, and execute the work necessary to provide the following services: Military Human Resources (MHR), Movement Services, MHR Information Management Services, and MHR Development an d Sustainment Services. A copy of the DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS) is available at the Directorate of Contracting Web Site for download and review at http://www.lewis.army.mil/doc, select solicitation from the menu. Comments are being sought on the draft PWS by 8 December 2001 from prospective offerors. Any resultant contract will have a performance period, which includes a phase-in period, a base year and four option periods. All requests received must include business size and e-mail addresses. The Government will NOT provide hard copies (paper sets) of the PWS. It is anticipated that the action will be set-aside for small business concerns; however, a determination has not yet been made. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561210, Facilities Support Services with a smal l business size standard of $5 million.
