Description

Overhaul and technical data for the T63-A-720 Engine, AMCOM intends to immediately award a Letter Contract to Rolls Royce Corporation, Indianapolis, IN 46241 (CAGE 63005) based upon the agency's urgent requirement pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(2) as implem ented by FAR 6.302-2, Unusual and Compelling Urgency. No solicitation for this action is being issued. The Government does not possess a Depot Maintenance Work Requirement (DMWR) for this effort. Only Rolls Royce Corporation possess the data to accompli sh the required overhaul effort. The required schedule is 12 each (engines) per month commencing 60 days after award of the contract. An anticipated follow on competitive procurement limited to the Rolls Royce Authorized Maintenance Centers will be condu cted in the near future. This anticipated action will be for an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type contract for an estimated minimum of 120 and an estimated maximum of 700 engines over a 5 year period.
