This is a pre-solicitation synopsis. The actual RFQ, with information and specifications, will be available on Gateway after the date below (11/30). Please note that all dates are estimated -- -- - See Notes #1, 9 and 26. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside.-Buy American Act applies. This is an acquisition for 100,000 of the item Ribbon Attachment Numerals, Strike Flight, Navy and Air Medal, Army, No. 2. NSN:8455-00-935-6733 There will be one destination required with 2 deliveries. The destination is: DDSP- New Cumberland Facility, New Cumberland, PA. The production lead-time is 165 days after award. -- -- - Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(a)(7) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations in paper form. Offeror should register to receive notification of this solicitation. -- -- -- INSTRUCTIONS FOR RETRIEVING SOLICITATIONS -- -- -Copies of this solicitation can be found on the DLA Procurement Gateway (Gateway) at http://progate.daps.mil/home after (NOVEMBER 30, 2001). From the Gateway home page, select 'Search RFQs' from the left-hand sidebar. Then choose the RFQ you wish to view. In addition, you can enter DSCP C&T FSCs and NSNs to receive notification of RFQs. The Gateway will send all registered users an e-mail notification of RFQ solicitations based on your FSC and NSN profile. The FSC and NSN notifications will also contain a link that can connect users directly to a digital copy of the solicitation on the Internet. The solicitations will be in a downloadable, printable format when viewed with an Adobe Acrobat Reader. Free software is available at http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html.
