Description

The Bi-State Development Agency is seeking bids from qualified contractors to construct a Salt Storage Facility. The contractor shall furnish all supervision, technical personnel, labor, materials, machinery, services and perform and complete all work required for the construction of a 2,000 square foot salt storage building per the construction plans; and, any and all required supplemental work for the completion of the project in accordance with the contract documents. Contractor will be responsible for obtaining and funding all permits necessary through the City of St. Louis for this project. Contractor will also be responsible for the scheduling of all inspections pertaining to this project. Project proposed start date and construction schedule must be indicated in bid package. Each bidder shall familiarize themselves with the project site and be aware of the extent of the work required to complete the project. BSDA will be responsible for providing the needed documents for permits, site plans, soil samples, color of siding and shingles, and final location of the building. BSDA will be responsible for any electrical work to be done. BSDA will be responsible for the final asphalt flooring on the inside of the building.
