Belvoir, Virginia December 13, 2001 Overview: A key element of the DoD Scientific and Technical Information Program, DTIC is the central Department of Defense facility for providing access to and facilitating the exchange of scientific and technical information. As an element of the Defense Information Systems Agency, in support of our nation's warfighters and the defense community who stands behind them, DTIC provides access to and facilitates the exchange of scientific and technical information thereby contributing to the management and conduct of Defense research, development, and acquisition efforts. DTIC's headquarters facility is located at the Headquarters Complex on Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Target Audience: This location is unique in that attendees from each of the above groups will be participating. Personnel from DTIC, DLA and Defense Contract Audit Agency and Defense Threat Reduction Agency are all located in the building where this event is held.
