Description

The USDA, ARS, AFM, PPD, Contracts Branch has a competitive requirement for commercial repair and maintenance service of approximately 50 passenger and freight elevators, dumbwaiters, book lifts, equipment lifts, and sidewalk lifts located at Beltsville, Maryland. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. This subsequent contract will be a performance-based service contract with fixed prices and IDIQ line items. The base period of performance will be from February 1, 2002 through September 30, 2002, with options for four (4) additional 12-month periods and one (1) option 4-month period. As these services are commercial items, the solicitation will be conducted in accordance with FAR 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The anticipated release date is November 21, 2001. The acquisition will be available on the Internet at the following URL location in WordPerfect and ASCII: http://www.ars.usda.gov/afm2/divisions/ppd/solicit.htm.
