Description

F -- ENVIRONMENTAL SUPPORT SERVICES. The NAVSUP -- Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Regional Contracts Department intends to negotiate a Time and Material contract to provide support to Environmental Support Services for the Base Operations Office (Environmental Operations Office) and the Aircraft Environmental Support Office (AESO) located at the Naval Air Depot, North Island for a base year with options for 4 additional one-year periods under Request for Proposal N00244-02-R-0012. AESO's mission is to measure, manage and issue air emissions and noise level data from naval aviation operations and related maintenance functions. The mission of the Base Operations Office (Environmental Operations Office) is to achieve and maintain compliance in all media areas (air, water, hazardous materials & waste, energy, etc.). This is a follow-on acquisition to contract number N00244-9 7-D-5087, Time and Material, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity type contract with BENMOL CORPORATION. This procurement is reserved as a Small Business 100% Set-Aside. For the follow-on acquisition, AESO has expanded the scope of the current contract, to include broader performance sites on a Navy-wide basis at various Naval and Marines Air Facilities in the continental US as well as overseas and may include other DOD facilities. Specific tasks will be assigned through individual task orders. Services will include engineering, analytical, and technical support services. The Statement of work labor categories will require knowledge, skills, and experience of the following labor categories and may be subject to change upon issuance of the RFP: (1) Project Manager, (2) Senior Environmental Engineer/Scientist, (3) Environmental Engineer/Scientist, (4) Senior Software System Analyst, (5) Computer Programmer, (6) Senior Mechanical Engineer/Scientist, (7) Mechanical Engineer/Scientist, (8) Industrial Hygienist, (9) Senior Chemical Engineer/Scientist, (10) Chemical Materials Engineer, (11) Certified Energy Manager, (12) Engineering Technician, (13) Technical Illustrator, (14) Technical Writer, (15) Word Processing/Publications Specialist, (16) Data Entry clerk. The proposed NAICS code is 541330 with a size standard of $20.0 million applies.
