Description

The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and supervision to prepare the surfaces and paint the water line support structure near Buskin River Bridge No. 5., located at the USCG Integrated Support Command, KODIAK, ALASKA in accordance with the Statement of Work. The structure is approximately 120' in length consisting of metal joists and trusses supporting a 16" water main. Contractor is responsible for verifying square footage before quoting. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED MATERIALS: None Performance Period is 30 -- 45 days. SUBMITTALS DUE UPON AWARD include but are not limited to: manufacturer's catalogs, standard schedules, performance charts, instructions, brochures, diagrams, etc., in addition to samples of paint color, laboratory data, MSDS's, references / applicator's qualifications. CONTRACTOR SHALL COMPLY WITH requirements of: ASTM, CFR, MIL SPEC, FED STD, applicable OSHA regulations and Coast Guard Safety Regs. ADDITIONAL SPECIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS ARE CONTAINED IN STATEMENT OF WORK THAT WILL BE INCLUDED WITH REQUEST FOR QUOTE DOCUMENTS WHEN THEY ARE MAILED ON APPROXIMATELY NOVEMBER 19, 2001. A SITE VISIT will be held approximately two weeks before quote is due. Location: U.S. Coast Guard, Integrated Support Command, Kodiak, Alaska. Estimated price is between $25,000 and $100,000. The proposed contract will be awarded under the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. All responsible sources may submit a written quotation, which shall be considered. Solicitation package issue date is approximately NOVEMBER 19, 2001. Written quotes will be due on / about DECEMBER 19, 2001.
