- Description
- The project work site is the U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Miami Exchange Building 110, 15000 NW 42 Avenue, Opalocka, Florida. The project work consists of removal and disposal of approximately 52,000 SQ FT of single-ply roof and insulation, abatement of 10,000 LF of non-friable asbestos containing material joints, temporary removal of existing roof mounted HVAC, reefers and supports, and reinstallation of HVAC equipment with new supports, new equipment curbs, flashing gutters and downspouts. Furnish two spot coolers for the duration of this portion of work. Furnish and install new single-ply roof system with rigid board insulation. Replacement of approximately 500 LF of T&G wood decking, approximately 300 LF of wood blocking, approximately 60 LF of wood fascia board. Performance time is 90 days. The estimated price range is $250,000.00 -- $500,000.00. The applicable NAICS code for this project is 235610, Roofing, Siding and Sheet Metal Contractors with size standard of $11.5 million. Bid guarantee, payment and performance bonds are required. Award will be made pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Bid opening Date: December 27, 2001, 2:00 pm EST.
