Description
The work involves the following: Provide all material, equipment and labor to construct a new 14,040 GSF Dormitory to include all site work, utility hook-ups, paving and sidewalks and landscaping at the Atterbury Job Corps Center located in Edingburgh, Indiana. The period of performance for completion of work is 270 calendar days from NTP. The estimated cost range of construction is between $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. Plans and specifications will be available on or about December 4, 2001, ONLY from the office of Kersey & Kersey Inc., 839 East Gray Street, Louisville, Kentucky 40204. Contact: Ms. Cheryl Kersey at (502) 583-0094 for additional information regarding this project. Collect calls will not be accepted. It is emphasized that requests must be in writing. Requests will be limited to the issuance of one (1) complete set per request from any interested party. Plans and specifications will be made available for pick-up at the A/E's office, or may be arranged for delivery at an additional charge. Any additional shipping and/or handling charges MUST be pre-paid and COD requests will not be accepted. Facsimile requests will not be accepted. All requests will be answered on a first-come, first-serve basis until supply is exhausted. For requests made after the supply is exhausted, the Contracting Officer may determine whether payment of a fee is warranted. The non-refundable fee shall not exceed the actual cost of reproduction of the IFB documents (to be determined by the Contracting Officer) plus a shipping charge based on individual request (if applicable) will be required in order to obtain the IFB documents. A Pre-Bid walk-thru is scheduled for January 8, 2002 at 1:00 p.m., local time. This will be the only opportunity to review the job site prior to submission of bids. The Bid Opening date is January 23, 2002 at 2:00 p.m., local time. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside acquisition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this project is 233320 with a size standard of $27.5 million. HUBzone, small disabled veterans, woman-owned, small disadvantage businesses, 8(a) businesses, and small businesses are encouraged to apply.
