Description

DBS, Contracting, Fort McCoy intends to award a sole source contract to Grand Traverse Hotel, Acme, MI for nonpersonal services to provide support for the USA Recruiting Battalion Annual Training Conference, Traverse City, MI, 29 Nov 01-1 Dec 01. Support i ncludes lodging rooms for approximately 330 individuals per night, conference room rental (up to 4 each per day), classroom rental (up to 10 each per day), audio visual equipment per classroom, banquet room, and banquel meal for approximately 330 individua ls. This is a sole source procurement under the FAR 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes nor will a solicitation document be made available. Any response to this notice must include evidence in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements. Responses received will be evaluated to determine whether competition would be advantageous to the Government; a determination by the Government not to compete the procurement i s solely within the discretion of the Government. If no affirmative response is received, the procurement will proceed on a sole source basis.
