Description

The Coastal Systems Station, Dahlgren Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City, Florida is requesting proposals to perform refurbishment of equipment and project gear using simplified acquisition procedures. This resultant award is anticipated to be a requirements purchase order under which delivery orders will be placed as services are needed. The anticipated performance period will be for three years from date of award of the purchase order or until the purchase order maximum of $100,000.00 is reached, whichever occurs first. Refurbishment includes cleaning by blasting with plastic media, sand, glass, and aluminum oxide beads; using metal fillers; and painting the items using various methods. Items range in size from items that can be held in one hand to 8 x8 x40 and from lightweight to 10,000 lbs. Anticipated release date is 16 November 2001.
