Provide A/E services for site investigation, contract documents and construction period services for Project 557-02-104 to Replace Plumbing in Bldgs 4 & 9 at the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center, 1826 Veterans Blvd., Dublin, Ga 31021. This project will include but not be limited to replacing domestic water lines, sanitary piping, fittings, valves and accessories per current VA specifications. Buildings 4 & 9 are both reinforced concrete frame with brick veneer exterior structures with pitched slate roofs constructed in 1944. Bldg. 4 is a 21,000 GSF three story building housing radiology and surgery. Building 9 is a 19,000 GSF two story building housing ICU, Medical Services, Medical Administration, Social Work, Chaplain Services and Prosthetics. Operations in both buildings will continue during construction. Numbered Note 24 applies. SF 254s and 255s must be submitted no later than 11/30/01. Faxed documents will not be accepted. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 541330 applies and the size standard is $4.0 million. This is an emerging small business set-aside under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program.
