Description

This is a combined solicitation/synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 13.5 with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. FISC Norfolk Naval Shipyard intends to procure on a sole source basis the following item: Item 0001: 2 Channel DynamicPro Signal Analyzer with options; 18- CD-RW drive, 19A-256 MB RAM upgrade, 41 -- Octave analysis. Signal Analyzer has an IMBEDDED FIP. Model number CV295B-2; Quantity is 2 each. This notice is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation of offers. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is N00181-02-Q-0068. The solicitation document incorporates clauses and provisions in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. The NAICS classification is 334515 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. Required delivery date is 24 December 2001.
