Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division intends to issue a modification to increase the scope of contract N68936-00-D-0064 with Northrop Grumman Field Support Services, Inc of Jacksonville, FL, on a sole source basis. The procurement is for engineering support for the F-14 Weapons System Support Activity (WSSA) in Operational Flight Program (OFP) origination and F-14A/B upgrade program. Northrop Grumman is the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of the F-14 aircraft. The scope of work includes engineering services leading to the development and modification of F-14A/B/D aircraft systems providing new capabilities and continuation of the F-14A/B upgrade program to increase the airframes survivability. The contract is a Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity type with tasks being ordered via individual task orders. The period of performance is 01 September 2000 through 31 August 2003 with no options. The existing level of effort of 140,000 hours will be increased by approximately 70,005 hours within the existing period of performance. This is not a request for competitive proposals. See Note 22.
