- Description
- The CECOM Acquisition Center is issuing this notice as a sources sought announcement. There is no intention at this time to issue a formal solicitation nor award a contract based upon any offeror information received. Pursuant to the specifics reflected below, any potential responses should include sufficient information to verify the offeror's ability to meet or exceed the criteria herein transmitted. (See Note 25) The Government does intend to use any any information received to serve as a benchmark t est of the market's capability to support the existing fleet of ARL-M systems. Responses are to be submitted one copy to each address below on or before close of business November 30, 2001. Addressee One Commander, USACECOM Acquisition Center, Bldg 1208- W, 2nd Floor, Derum Avenue, AMSEL-AC-CC-RT-K (WAT), Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703. Addressee Two PMO ARL, 19844 Blue Ridge Mountain Road, Building 110, 2nd Floor, Bluemont, VA 20135. Specifics of the requirement are as follows: The offeror must provide Cont ractor Logistics Support for three ARL-M Systems (M4, M5, M6) at Fort Bliss, TX and three at Camp Humphries, ROK. This maintenance will consist of both field and depot support for a suite of IMINT, COMINT, Radar and Communications Suites. Some salient po ints concerning this effort are: 1) There is no technical data (drawings, manuals,configuration descriptions, software documentation) available to describe the ARL-M system (also the ARL-Ms are unique depending on time of fielding). 2)An ARL-M system cann ot be made available to prospective offerors for evaluation. All systems are in operation and cannot be disrupted. 3) The effort must start 01 January 2003. 4) Personnel associated with the COMINT subsystem maintenance must have a Top Secret clearance. 5 ) The aircraft must be maintained at a 90% availability level. The systems at Fort Bliss require at least four deployments per year to an OCONUS site. See Note #26.
