Description

This requirement is for Household Goods (HHG) Packing, Crating, Storage and Movement Services in various Pacific Northwest locations. This acquisition encompasses Inbound, Outbound, Intra-area, and Inter-city shipments. Anticipate primary and secondary awards of firm fixed price, requirements type contracts. Period of performance will be a 12-month base period, commencing on or about 1 January 2002, and one (1) 12-month option period. This procurement is set aside 100% for small business, and will be negotiated using FAR Part 12-Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 15-Contracting by Negotiation. Notes 1 and 9 apply. Prospective offerors not CCR-registered should immediately begin the registration process. The solicitation will be posted to the NECO web site: www.neco.navy.mil under "Business Opportunities" and solicitation number "N00406-02-R-5041 The Government will NOT distribute hard-copy solicitations or amendments. The Government will not mail, fax, or e-mail the solicitation or any amendments thereto. Subsequent amendments, if any, will be transmitted solely via the NECO web site. Prospective offerors are responsible for checking the NECO web site early and periodically for any solicitation amendments.
