Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, intends to award on a sole source basis, a purchase order to Exothermics Inc., to provide Enhanced HFN Materials. Exothermics has developed unique and proprietary nitridation processes to produce stoichiometric or controlled metal phase content HfN which are required to perform the above task. This purchase shall be negotiated in accordance with the authority of 41 U.S.C. 2152 (c)(1) -- Only one responsible source with unique capabilities. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST QUOTATION. Any responsible interested firms may submit their technical capabilities within 15 days after the publication of this notice. (see note # 1 and #22)
