- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst has a requirement for Air Data Test Set (P/N ADTS405-8325). The ADTS generates precise pilot and static pressures for testing aircraft pneumatic instruments and air data systems. The test set can be used to conduct dynamic tests, quantitative tests and pneumatic leak test. The set also generates altitude and airspeed outputs and pressure rates. The set is man-portable and has self-contained pressure and vacuum sources. First Article Testing will be required. Companies wishing to provide this item for the government will be required to perform the following tests: Environmental Testing (altitude, temperature, shock, and vibration); Performance Testing; Reliability Testing and EMI Testing. Companies will also be required to provide the following data: Technical Manuals, operating instructions with Integrated Parts List (IPL) and Intermediate Maintenance Instructions; HazMat Management Program Plan; Provisioning Parts List; Supplementary Provision Technical Documentation; Interim Support Material List (SML); Repair of Repairables (ROR) Support; Maintenance Plan, and Calibration Measurement Requirements (CMRS) Summary. This testing and data will be provided at the contractor's expense. Note: This is only a partial list and is not all-inclusive. The Solicitation will provide a complete listing of required testing and data. This requirement will be accomplished via an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contract with a minimum of 5 units. The solicitation will appear on the NAVAIR homepage located at http://www.navair.navy.mil. Select "Business". Then "Doing Business with us" and "Open Solicitation". No solicitations will be mailed and no hard copies of solicitations will be made available. Responsible sources are advised to monitor the website listed above for RFP release and RFP amendments, as necessary. The estimated release of the RFP is 12 December 2001. Phone, fax or email requests for the RFP will not be accepted. The Government anticipates a firm fixed-price award as a result of this solicitation. This solicitation is being issued as full and open competition. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. =20
