Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items or services prepared in accordance with format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued Request for Quotation (RFQ BLM-FAQ020006). The solicitation clause and provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code for this acquisition is 5122. Delivery will be FOB Destination. DOI/Bureau of Land Management, Office of National Wild Horse and Burro Program intends to purchase the following: 25 vials each of Imrab 3 Bovine Plus (25 dose vials); 250 vials each of Strepguard Vaccine with Havlogen (Strangles Vaccine in 10 dose vials); 350 vials each of Prestigell Vaccine (10 ml 10 dose vials); 80 vials each of Cephalovac EWT vaccine (20 ml 10 dose vials); 35,000 each 3cc syringes with leur lock monoject 20 x 1 1/2" needle. This material is in support of the program at the Palomino Valley Center located in Sparks, Nevada. and the attending veterinarian is Richard Sanford, D.V.M. with NV license #565, account #MWI-32347. Delivery of material required by November 16, 2001 as complete or partial shipment. Clause #52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal (AUG 1999)is applicable to this order and the following factors (in descending order) will be used to evaluate offers submitted: 1)Technical capability of item offered to meet the government's requirements, 2) Past Performance and 3) Price and delivery schedule. The following FAR provisions apply to this solicitation: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial; 52.212-2 Evaluation-Commercial Items. All offerors are to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items with their offer. The following provision also applies to this acquisition, 52.232-33 Mandatory Information for Electronic Funds Transfer Payment.
