Description

The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, licenses and other items or services necessary to perform the management and operation of commercial travel offices for the Alaska Regional Travel Service (ARTS). The contractor shall provide official travel services, to include land and air transportation, rental car reservations, and hotel reservations. The locations for official travel services include Elmendorf and Eielson US Air Force, Fort Richardson and Fort Wainwright US Army, US Army Corps of Engineers, Camp Denali Army National Guard and Kulis Air National Guard bases/posts installations in Alaska. The contractor shall manage and operate the commercial travel offices in the facilities provided by the Government. The Government intends to issue a single solicitation and award. The intent of the Government is to award a five-year contract (one-year base period, with 8, six-month option periods). This contract will contain a special, No Cost Termination for Convenience of the Government Clause for implementation of a Defense Travel System (DTS) contract for official travel. All responsible contractors may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the Government. The NAIC code is 561510, size standard $1M. Offerors will be evaluated using a Past Performance Price Trade-off. A copy of the solicitation, amendments, and other pertinent documents pertaining to this acquisition can be located on the Electronic Posting System at http://www.eps.gov, where it is expected to be posted on or about 15 Oct 01. Central Contract Registration (CCR) is mandatory; thus offerors will need a CAGE Code and a DUNS number.
