Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes sole source solicitation; proposals are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be listed in accordance with Note 22. 701812Q004 is issued as a sole source request for quotation. This acquisition and the incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. The following fuel requirements will be fulfilled and purchased from Yukon Fuel Co in Bethel, Alaska whose main office is Yukon Fuel Co, 7941 Sandlewood Place, Anchorage, AK 99507 due to Yukon Fuel Co is the only fuel supplier in the Bethel area. Bethel, AK is a bush community and isolated. The only transportation available to Bethel is either by vessel or aircraft. The USFWS Yukon Delta National Wildlife Refuge in Bethel has no bulk fuel storage and purchase approximately 15000 to 20000 gallons of aviation fuel every fiscal year and delivery can only be accomplished by the local supplier of petroleum products in Bethel, AK. Delivery, inspection and acceptance will be at Yukon Delta National Wildlife Refuge, Bethel, Alaska 99559. The following provisions 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items and 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items apply to this acquisition. A completed copy of 52.212-34, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items must be included with the offer. The following clauses 52.212.4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions REquired to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items applies to this order.
