Description

Atlantic Division, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Norfolk, VA 23511, ALLEGANY BALLISTICS LABORATORY, ALLIANT TECHSYSTEMS, ROCKET CENTER, WV. The project involves construction of a two story building shell, measuring approximately 9,220 SF in plan, and related sitework. Building shell consists of concrete foundations, slab on grade, structural steel framing, bar joists, elevated concrete slab on metal deck, metal roof deck with rigid insulation and ballasted EPDM single-ply membrane roofing, combination brick and glass exterior with metal stud backup, and incidental related work. Sitework consists of earthwork, underground utilities, concrete paver walks, and incidental related work. Estimated cost is in the range of $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. Plans and specifications will be available on or after November 21, 2001. The bid opening date has not been set, but will be approximately December 21, 2001. Bonds will be required. West Virginia Contractors License must be submitted prior to commencement of work by Contractor and subcontractors. A mandatory Pre-bid conference will be held.
