Description

Single award term contract for period beginning April 1, 2002 and ending March 31, 2003, plus up to one optional 12-month extension period for the Social Security Administration. Production area, assumed 100-kilometer (60-mile) radius of the Social Security Administration, 6401 Security Boulevard, Baltimore, MD. Bidders outside area must furnish documentation of their ability to meet schedule. Copy pickup in Baltimore, MD. From 0 to 20 orders per month for 1 to 100 copies of from 1 to 300 different signs. It is anticipated that most orders will be for less than a combined total of approximately 100 signs with an occasional order for up to approximately 300 signs. However, many order will be for only one sign. Sizes: Various trim sizes as follows: Format A: up to and including 152 x 229 mm (6 x 9"). Format B: include any trim size over 152 x 229 mm (6 x 9") up to and including 229 x305 mm (9 x 12"). Format C: include any trim size over 229 x 305 mm (9 x 12") up to and including 432 x 558 mm (17 x 22"). Format D: include any trim size over 305 x 508 mm (12 x 22") up to and including 432 x 558 mm (17 x 22"). Print face only in black ink or a single ink color other than black as indicated on the print order. Full reverse printing will be required on some orders. Operations include making reproducibles, printing (metal photo and/or screen printing), trimming, packing, and delivery. Bids offered are f.o.b. destination to approximately 8 addresses within the commercial zones of Baltimore, Md., and Washington, DC. Quality attributes level III.
