Description

The purchase description (MIL-G-44013)is to be used for this item. This acquisition is for a firm fixed quantity of 3,338 PR of gloves to be delivered to the New Cumberland, PA and Tracy, CA depots. Production leadtime begins 180 days after date of award (8 delivery increments). This acquistion is also set-a-side for small businesses only. Anticipated issuance date is 21 Nov. 2001.=20 All materials used in fabrication are to be furnished by the successful bidder. All responsible sources may submit offers which DSCP shall consider. The solicition will also contain DOMESTIC RESTRICTIONS, which means that all components and all manufacturing must be obtained/performed within the UNITED STATES. See numbered notes: 1 & 9. Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(a)(7) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations in paper form. Offeror should register to receive notification of this solicitation. Copies of this solicitation can be found on the DLA Procurement Gateway (Gateway) at http://progate.daps.mil/home after (Estimated Date: 21 NOV.2001). From the Gateway home page, select "Search RFQs" from the left-hand sidebar. Then choose the RFQ you wish to view. In addition, you can enter DSCP C&T FSCs and NSNs to receive notification of RFQs. The Gateway will send all registered users an e-mail notification of RFQ solicitations based on your FSC and NSN profile. The FSC and NSN notifications will also contain a link that can connect users directly to a digital copy of the solicitation on the Internet.
