Description
Z Baltimore Harbor & Channels, Maryland, 50-Foot and 42-Foot Projects Maintenance & New Work Dredging, Ferry Bar Channel, Ft. McHenry Channel & Turning Basin, Dundalk East & West Channels, Seagirt-Dundalk Connecting Channel, South Locust Pt. Marine Terminal, Anchorage No. 3 and Anchorage No. 4, Chesapeake Bay, Maryland. This proposed procurement is Unrestricted. The SIC Code is 16292/NAICS 234990. Estimated cost of construction is between $25,000, 000.00 and $100,000,000.00. Completion no later than 275 calendar days. Work consists of performing maintenance dredging of the Ferry Bar Channel (42 feet deep and 660 feet wide), and Ft. McHenry Channel (50 feet deep and 700 feet wide), and maintenance and new work dredging of the Ft. McHenry Turning Basin (50 feet deep and 1.200 feet by 1,200 feet), South Locust Point Marine Terminal (36 feet deep and 400 feet wide), East Dundalk Channel (42 feet deep and 400 feet wide), West Dundalk Channel (42 feet deep and 500 feet wide), Seagirt-Dundalk Connecting Channel (42 feet deep and 500 feet wide), Anchorage No. 3 (42 feet deep, and 2,200 feet by 2,200 feet and 1,800 feet by 1,800 feet), and Anchorage No. 4 (35 feet deep and 1,800 feet by 1,800 feet). The dredged material will be transported and placed in the Hart-Miller Island Placement Facility. Issue o/a 19 Nov 01; opening o/a 19 Dec 01. The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, free of charge, to all registered plan holders. This solicitation will not be issued in paper. Contractors' requests for solicitations and quotations will be performed through Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI). In order to comply with the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, all contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be considered for award of a Federal contract.
