Description

The Albuquerque Area Office Indian Health Service(IHS), Division of Contract Health Service, has a requirement for reviewing patient medical records for the purpose of analysis, statistics and surverying patient data for those patients who were admitted to non-IHS hospitals and other medical facilites and where the average lengths of stay ranged from three to ten days. It is the intent of the IHS to utilize these anlaysis/statistics and surveys as a mechanism to improve its management and to maximize its resources allocated for Contract Health Service. The Contractor must possess experience in working National and State of New Mexico Health Organizations, ie, Medicare, Medicaid and other health agencies, Health Care Finance Administration. The Contractor, in the capacity of a Consultant, shall be familiar with the Indian Health Service healthcare system and the delivery of health care to the Native Americans. The Contractor is also required to have knowledge of health care provider networks. This procurement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The contract will be for a six-month period.
