Description

The Prospectus for the Operation of Ferry Service from Patchogue, New York to Watch Hill and Barrett Beach, Fire Island, New York within Fire Island National Seashore, New York, issued October 12, 2001, is hereby amended as follows: Ferry Service between Patchogue, New York and Barrett Beach, Fire Island, New York will not be a required visitor service in 2002. It is an authorized visitor service. It is anticipated this service will be required in 2004. The Operating Plan, Exhibit A of the Concession Contract, will be revised to reflect the required schedule when service to Barrett Beach is implemented. All other terms and conditions of the Prospectus remain unchanged. The date for receipt of proposals and any modifications remains by 4:00 P.M. on December 11, 2001.
