Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). This is Request for Quotation No. 02SQ340053 which incorporates all provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular No. 01-01. This acquisition is set-aside to small business. The Northern American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 326122 and the size standard is 500 Employees. The contract line items are as follows: ITEM 1: (2 ea) Water Control Structure with the minimum requirements: Water Level control structure with 24" diameter inlet and outlet pipes and 10 feet tall with 9 feet of stop logs, Agri Drain in-line or equal. Control Inlet-Outlet pipe stubs shall be compatible with supplied drain pipe; ITEM 2: (3 ea) Water Control Structure with the minimum requirements 24" diameter inlet and outlet pipe and 8 feet tall with 7 feet of stop logs, Agri Drain in-line or equal. Control inlet-outlet pipe stubs shall be compatible with supplied drain pipes; ITEM 3: (231 FT) 24" diameter SureLok Corrugated Plastic Pipe by Hancor or equal with the minimum requirements: Connection shall be bell and spigot meeting ASTM F477 and pipe shall meet the requirements of AASHTO M 252, Type S, M 294, Type S, or MP7-97; ITEM 4: (380 FT) 24" F477 perforated drain by Hancor or equal meeting the minimum requirements of: Connections shall be bell and spigot meeting ASTM F477 and pipe meeting AASHTO M252, Type S, M294, Type S or MP7-97; ITEM 5: (14 ea) 24" diameter tees Surelok F-477 or equal, bell and spigot connection meeting ASTM F477, pipe material meeting AASHTO M252, Type S, M294, Type S, or MP7-97; ITEM 6 (2 ea) 24" diameter 90 degree Surelok elbows by Hancor or equal meeting requirements of ASTM F477 for bel land spigots and AASHTO M252 Type S, M294 Type S, or MP7-97; ITEM 7 (4 ea) Strap on flap gates for corrugated plastic pipe; ITEM 8: (3 ea) steel trash grates with powder coat finish; ITEM 9: (4 ea) 24" diameter Surelok end caps. Delivery of items shall be delivered to the Havasu National Wildlife Refuge, Refuge Farm, Mohave Valley, AZ. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. Delivery shall be made 21 days after receipt of order, but alternative delivery times may be considered. Provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, Complete and submit a copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Item. Clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition with no addenda. Clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Condition Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to include paragraph 11, 12, 13, 14,15, 16, 18, and 25. Quotes are due on November 13, 2001 at 4:15pm local time. Award will be made to the lowest responsive responsible bidder.
