Description
Provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision required to perform the following items of work in order to relocate overhead cables at USCG Station Atlantic City, NJ: (1) Provide a NEMA 4X box on concrete pad for splicing the existing 2 sets of 4-500Kcmil with new. (2) Provide approximately 150 feet of 2-way concrete duct bank with 4-4" PVC conduits & approximately 70 feet of 2-way concrete duct bank with 2-4" PVC conduits. (3) Provide a trench or bore under for the above duct banks at concrete boat ramp. (4) Provide 2-4" PVC coated rigid metal conduit riser for electrical service lines and 1-2" PVC coated rigid metal conduit riser for telephone on existing transformer pole. (5) Provide & coordinate the local utility companies to disconnect their cables, for removal of the pole, electrical conductors & telephone cable. Coordinate with USCG personnel to run the emergency generator (supplies the whole station for 16 hours) at the time of disconnection & reconnection of the incoming service conductors. (6) Provide new underground duct system prior to removal of the utility cables, to keep the generator running for minimum time. The period of performance is 90 days after Notice to Proceed is issued. This procurement is estimated between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00 and in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, is open to both small and large businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 235310 (formerly SIC Code 1731). The Small Business Size standard is $11.5 million. A firm due date for quotes has not been established at this time. The one shown above is estimated. This office does not issue solicitation or amendments in paper form.
