Description

Lease for 4 months with a 100% lease option 50 each Semi-Tractors; Diesel Powered, Tandem Axle, Day Cab; 6 each Busses, 44 Adult or more seating capacity; 12 each Mil-Van Trailers, ISO Container Chassis, and 10 each 48 Flat Bed Open Trailers with Sliding Tandem Axles for McAlester Army Ammunition Plant (MCAAP) located in McAlester, Oklahoma. Primary use of this equipment is intended to be within the confines of the installation. Possible use of the truck tractors and trailer, however, would include trans port of munitions outside the boundaries of MCAAP. Once the contract is awarded it will be the responsibility of the lessor to transport all leased items to MCAAP and pickup from MCAAP when the contract is complete. MCAAP will supply fuel to operate the semi-tractors and busses and provide operator checks and services including replenishment of engine oil and coolant. Lessor shall provide regularly scheduled maintenance to vehicles. Should any item become inoperable due to breakdown, lessor shall compl ete repairs and return it to service within twenty-four hours of notification or make an equivalent replacement of the item. Lessor shall be responsible for on-site tire service for the semi-tractors including flat repair and replacement tires for those t hat fail due to wear. Approximate issue date is 21 Nov 01 with opening date approx 15 days from issue. NOTICE TO ALL CONTRACTORS: All contractors who provide good/services to the Dept of Defense (DOD) must be registered in the Central Contractors Regist er (CCR) in order to be awarded DOD contracts.
