Notice was posted on Sep 07, 2001 as solicitation number F02601-01-TRAVEL. Solicitation number has changed to F02601-02-R-0001. Contracting Office Address 355th Contracting Squadron, Davis Monthan AFB, AZ 85707 Description The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, licenses and other items or services necessary to perform the management and operation of commercial travel offices at specific ACC and AETC installations. The contractor shall provide official travel services, to include air transportation, rental car reservations, and hotel reservations. The locations for official travel services include Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ, Luke AFB, AZ, Cannon AFB, NM, Holloman AFB, NM, and Tucson Air National Guard, AZ. Each installation may include satellite and limited satellite locations managed from a primary location. The contractor shall manage and operate the commercial travel offices in the facilities provided by the Government. The Government intends to issue a single solicitation and award. The intent of the Government is to award a five-year contract (one year base period, and four one-year option periods). Each installation will be a separate sub-CLIN to allow flexibility for the implementation of the Defense Travel System (DTS). This acquisition will be a 100% 8a small business set-aside. All responsible small businesses may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the Air Force. The NAICS code is 561510, size standard $1M. Offerors will be evaluated using a Price Performance Trade-off. The Government intends on posting a solicitation on or about 8Nov01. The solicitation will be posted on EPS and/or CBD electronically.
