- Description
- The 509th Contracting Squadron (509 CONS), Whiteman AFB Missouri, anticipates issuing a solicitation, on or about 7 Dec 01, to acquire various services to support maintenance of Military Family Housing units at Whiteman AFB, MO. Services include but are not limited to maintenance of housing units (interior and exterior components), change of occupancy maintenance, interior and exterior painting, maintenance of common grounds, inspections, and on-call service work. Funds are not presently available for this acquisition; therefore, the solicitation will be issued under FAR clause 52.232-18 -- Availability of Funds. This acquisition will be solicited as an 8(a)competitive. The NAICS is 561210 ($20 million). The solicitation must be downloaded from www.eps.gov, as no paper copies will be issued. All information required for submission of an offer will be identified in the solicitation. A MANDATORY site visit will be conducted, date and time to be determined (on or about 19 Dec). The Government contemplates award on or about 31 May 01. The resultant award will be made on an all-or-none basis to include a basic period and four annual option periods and two award term option periods. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract, restrict the government in its ultimate acquisition approach, or obligate the Government to pay for proposal preparation cost.=20
