Description

The Administrative Office of the United States Courts (AOUSC) requires the services of a contractor capable of operating a cafeteria at the Thurgood Marshall Federal Judiciary Building, One Columbus Circle, NE, Washington, DC. Cafeteria service will operate on a profit/loss basis. The contractor will provide breakfast and lunch service Monday through Friday, except federal holidays. The Thurgood Marshall Federal Judiciary Building houses approximately 1,500 employees and contractors as well as individuals who may be in the building on a given day. The cafeteria is only accessible to individuals conducting official business within the building and is adjacent to Washington DC's Union Station. Services include eat-in and carry-out options as well as catering for meetings and/or training sessions conducted in the building. Current cafeteria configuration includes kitchen, hot grill, hot food table for full meal service, salad bar, and miscellaneous fast food items. The dining facility is configured with 76 tables and 206 seats. Current sales average $45,000 per month. The resulting contract will require the contractor to propose fixed prices for food served with annual price adjustments.
