Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons is seeking concerns having the ability to provide residential Community Corrections Center (CCC) services and Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) services for male and female offenders in the Central South Dakota area. Location of the facility must be within the boundaries of the Aurora, Beadle, Brown, Brule, Buffalo, Charles Mix, Davison, Dewey, Douglas, Edmonds, Faulk, Gregory, Hand, Hughes, Hyde, Jerauld, Jones, Lyman, Melette, Potter, Sanborn, Spink, Stanley, Sully, Todd, Tripp, or Walworth County. Residential services include care, custody, control, accountability, and treatment, including subsistence. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Statements of Work entitled, Community Corrections Center (CCC), dated August 2001 and Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment Services (TDAT), dated November 16, 1999. A requirements contract is anticipated. The services are estimated to be 84% male and 16% female. The estimated number of inmate days for Line Item One, CCC services, are 11,680 for the two-year base period, 6,570 for the first option period, 6,935 for the second option period, and 7,300 for the third option period. For Line Item Two, TDAT services, the estimates are as follows: 2 intake assessments, 48 units of 30-minute individual counseling sessions, and 144 units of 30-minute group counseling for the two-year base period; 1 intake assessments, 24 units of 30-minute individual counseling sessions, and 72 units of 30-minute group counseling for each of the three one-year option periods. The solicitation will be available on or after November 26, 2001, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions.
