Description

This is a notice of intent to negotiate with AIRPOWER Aviation Resources, on an other than full and open competitive basis for flight demonstrations in the JU-52 Aircraft. This requirement supports the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, United States Naval Test Pilot School (USNTPS), Patuxent River, MD. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded for these flight hours. The contractor will provide one JU-52 aircraft, a thorough preflight briefing for USNTPS students and staff instructor pilots, a contractor pilot-in-command in the airplane for the evaluation flights and oil, maintenance and other support services for the operation of the JU-52. This requirement is being procured under statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition, 10 U.S.C. Section 2304(c) (1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.
