Description

FYI -- Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. This subpart authorizes, as a test program, use of simplified procedures for the acquisition of supplies and services in amounts greater than the simplified acquisition threshold but not exceeding $5,000,000, including options. Additionally, the following changes are made to the synopsis/solicitation: Under Section C, Statement of Work, paragraph 3.1.6 Spare Chassis, (a) High Power Amplifier units is changed from 2 spare units to 1 spare unit. Under Section L, Instructions, Conditions, and Notices to Offerors or Quoters, paragraph B. Proposal Content Requirements, Offer (Volume 1) page limitation is changed from 1 page to no page limit. Due to the above changes, the proposal submittal date has been extended one week to 15 November 2001 by 2:00 pm EST.
