Description

DESCRIPTION -- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The combined Synopsis/Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is DAAE07-02-T-0004. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-46, dated 17 Mar 97. The associated North American Industrial Code System (NAICS) code is 334516. The services required are as follows: Calibration services on Government-owned Real Time Imaging Spectral Radiometer (RTISR) and Bi-directional Reflectometer, both manufactured by Surface Optics Corporation. Calibration services for the RTISR include: a) calibrate system internal spectral calibration b) Perform full spectroradiometric calibration of instrument of three intensifier gain settings, three iris settings, four zoom settings and two tele-extender positions. Calibration of the SOC 250, Bi-directional Reflectometer includes calibration of band-pass filters, optical performance of current standards and angular accuracy (Theta I, Theta R, Phi I, and Phi R). No options will be included. Services are for TACOM / AMSTA-TR-N, Warren, MI, and the performance period will begin approximately 19 Nov 01 and end 30 Sep 02. FOB Destination will apply (FAR 52.247-34). Provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Offerors are advised to include a complete copy of the Provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
