Description

17. The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue a sole source firm-fixed price contract to Raytheon Electronic Systems, 1847 West Main Road, Portsmouth, RI 02371-1087. The contract modification will provide for the procurement of up to 3 MK30 Mod 2 vehicles with an option of up to 3 additional units, associated Support and Test Equipment (S&TE), Spares, Operator Training, and Engineering Services. As the only producer of MK30 Mod 2 devices to date, Raytheon possesses the corporate knowledge, data, personnel, facilities, and unique test capabilities needed to perform the work and satisfy the low production delivery requirements. No other source has the unique qualifications and necessary resources to perform the work described herein.
