HUNT & ASSOCIATES; 5703 E. Gateway Drive; Boise, ID 83716. NAICS Code: 611699; size s tandard: $5.0. The services required will allow personnel to receive needed training for Unit Safety Coordinator Course. T his will be for eight separate courses. This training has been tailored to meet the needs of USCG personnel and covers spec ific blocks of applicable instruction directly related to job tasking. Interested persons may identify their interest and c apabilities, A list of classes needed are as follows : G-KSE-060 Unit Safety Coordinator Course; Course Lenth : 5 Days per course; Class Size :25 per course. Dates as follows: 17-21 December 2001; 25 February 2002 to 1 March 2002; 3-7 June 2002; 9-13 September 2002 at USCG TRACEN Yorktown, VA. 14-18 January 2002; 25-29 March 2002; 17-21 June 2002; 5-9 August 2002 at USCG TRACEN Petaluma, CA. Applicable FAR clauses for solicitation are attached. This notice is a combined synopsis/solici tation for a commercial item in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Therefore, please read this entire notice, the instructions herein. HOW TO RESP OND: In order to compete for this project, interested parties must demonstrate that they are qualified to perform the work b y providing a brief (20 pages or less) Technical and Cost Proposal by 4:00 PM, ET, November 08, 2001. Past performance hist ory (current or within the last 18 months) on projects similar in scope and nature, with specific references (including proj ect identifier/contract number and description, period of performance, dollar amount, client name and current telephone numb er). References will be checked to validate the information provided and to determine reliability/dependability. Key perso nnel, (those who would have the primary responsibility for performing and/or managing the project), with relevant qualificat ions and specific experience. Cost Proposal: provide Firm Fixed-Price, broken out by labor hours, labor category, materials , and other direct costs. Offerors must submit an original and two copies of the proposal to Edwin Lozano, USCG Headquarter s Support Command, Code A-3, Room B411, 2100 Second St. SW, Washington, DC 20593. Electronic transmissions to Elozano@comd t.uscg.mil are acceptable, but must be timely. Proposal Evaluation Criteria: (1) Price and price-related factors. (2) Tech nical. (3) Past performance of your organization, including adherence to schedules and budgets, the acceptability of previo us products delivered, effectiveness of program management, and the offeror's willingness to cooperate with the customer in both routine matters and when confronted by unexpected difficulties. This will be a Best-Value award determination. Technic al factors will be taken under consideration, but price and past performance are far more important. The following Federal Acquisition Regulations clauses are incorporated by reference: FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Comm ercial Items (Aug 00), 52.212-4 (Aug 00), 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes of Executiv e Orders-Commercial Items (Aug 00).
