Description

Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotations (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-27. This acquisition is set aside 100% for small business. The size standard is $5M or less in annual receipts. The NAICS code is 811310. See Attachment 2, Bid Schedule, for a list of contract line item numbers, quantities and units of measure. See Attachment 1, Statement of Work (SOW) for a description of the requirement. Performance is for a basic period, 1 Dec 01 through 30 Sept 02, and one option period, 1 Oct 02 through 30 Sep 03. The fire extinguishers to be serviced are located at F.E. Warren AFB, WY. Contractors must submit proof of state licensure for performing fire extinguisher inspection, testing and maintenance to include all extinguishers listed in Attachment 3, Workload Estimates. Price and past performance will be used to evaluate quotations. Contractors must be CCR registered; the web site for registration is http://www.ccr2000.com if registration has not been accomplished. All quotations must include a completed 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications?Commercial Items (Attachment 4). The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions/Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and is incorporated by reference. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To implement Statutes Or Executive Orders/Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and is incorporated by reference.
