Description

This is a combinded synopsis/solicitation for commmercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Contractor to provide software support of Government owned equipment Optical Disk Storage System (ODSS at Hill AFB UT). Software support for the following: 500007 Oracle V7 RDBMS Runtime 1-8 CLUs; 304672 Print 4.x; 305096 Capture Professional Medium Volume 3.x; 304879 IDM Services 3.x Dedicated user Lic; 304900 Enterprise IDM Services 3.5; 304849 IDM Toolkit 3.x; 305097 Capture Professional High Volume 3.x. Performance period will be 01 Oct 01 -- 30 Sep 02 Plus four 1 year options. The only acceptable source is Filenet Corporation, 3565 Harbor Boulevard, Costa Mesa, CA 92626-1420. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor, concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations =20 to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
