Description

The National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) proposes to negotiate on a sole source basis contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) with Polytec PI, Inc. for a 3-axis PZT controlled stage with the following critical specifications: 1) Capacitive feedback to provide 1 nm stability in X & Y and 0.2 nm in z. 2) Digital control with at least 20 bits. 3) Range of 100 um x 100 um x 20 um. 4) Aperture size 60 x 60mm square. 5) Mounting holes between 100 and 128 mm from center of stage. 6) Maximum height of integrated stage 30 mm. 7) High speed digital interface to controller (GPIB). 8) Labview Drivers to control stage. This procurement is being conducted per FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This synopsis is issued for information only. No competitive solicitation is planned..
