Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound has a requirement for a 3-Axis Shock and Vibration Test System (SVTS) in support of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Keyport. The SVTS design shall use the three presently owned Ling 335's, each installed perpendicular to each other in the SVTS. The SVTS's major components shall include the shaker platform, test table, thermal barrier, and hydrostatic bearing system. The unit shall be controlled by a multi-axis vibration control system controller, in real time operating system control. Delivery of the unit to NUWC Keyport, WA, is required within 30 weeks after award. The procedures of FAR Part 12, Commercial Acquisition, will be utilized. It is anticipated that the RFQ will be issued on or about 09 Nov 01 and close on or about 30 Nov 01. When issued, the RFQ will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link "www.neco.navy.mil". All offerors wishing to submit an offer, are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from this website (WinZIP or equivalent is required) and to frequently monitor that site for any amendments to the RFQ. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. An email request to "victor_b_angkico@puget.fisc.navy.mil" will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFQ from the NECO website. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFQ and/or amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to electronically posted solicitations or quotes and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals or quotes may render your proposal or quote nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.=20
