Description

PRE-AD: Waldo Lake Toilets Phase II. This is advance notification of a proposed procurement action for the Waldo Lake Toilet Buildings. This will allow prospective offers the opportunity to conduct a site visit while weather permits. Prebid tour is scheduled for November 14, 2001 9:00 a.m. at the Shadow Bay Site. The project consists of construction of two composting toilet buildings, each with photovoltaic systems, three vault toilet buildings, demolition of three flush toilet comfort stations, demolition of five vault toilets, and reconstruction of a waste disposal site. The composting buildings will house three digester units. One composting building located at North Waldo Campground and one at Shadow Bay Campground. Two Vault Toilets will be located at Islet Campground and one at Shadow Bay Campground. Project is located on the Middle Fork Ranger District, Lane County, Oregon. Government?s estimate is between $250,000 and $500,000. This contract is NOT set-aside for small business pursuant to Public Law 100-656, Small Business Competitive Demonstration Act.
