Description
The U. S. Bureau of Reclamation (USBR), Mid-Pacific Region has a requirement for aerial photography, surveying and mapping services. The area of service includes all of California, Nevada, and Klamath Falls Oregon. The proposed contractor shall provide the region with a variety and/or combination of services, including, but not limited to, the following: Land surveying: for ground control for the aerial mission, boundary resolution, subsidence documentation and dam monitoring. Aerial photography: aerial missions are flown at various altitudes depending on accuracy and coverage requirements. Typical missions are used to provide the bureau of digital, topographic mapping for design, construction and/or modification of existing dam structures, fish barriers, bureau facilities, etc.. Aero -- Triangulation: Post flight positives are aero-triangulated to augment the existing ground control and allow accurate mapping of large blocks and strips of photography. Topographic Mapping -- The aero-triangulated positives are used to create three dimensional, digital mapping files and include extracted digital terrain modeling, planimetric features and/or orthophotos. Bathymetric Surveying -- USBR's needs for underwater information at existing and proposed structures for temperature control, construction, and inundation areas has escalated with the renewed need for additional storage and power.
