Description

Engineering, technical, and support services, including all labor, supplies, equipment, test fixtures, tools, materials, transportation, and incidental support, for the Airborne and Field Sensors Test Branch, Firing Test Division, Redstone Technical Test C enter, Developmental Test Command, U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command in the testing and evaluation of weapon systems, assemblies, subassemblies, components, and associated equipment. This action adds 48,000 hours and approximately $1.5 million in mate rial and travel cost to Option VI and extends the performance period from 15 Nov 2001 to 15 Feb 2002. Total estimated cost is approximately $2.5 million. A solicitation for a follow on contract (DAAH01-01-R-R005) has been issued. Amtec Corporation is th e only contractor with the expertise and workforce in place to provide uninterrupted test support during the period prior to award of the resulting contract.
