- Description
- The Army Telecommunications Directorate, Army Signal Command has a requirement for non-personal services for digital cellular telephone services for Fort Drum, New York. The requirement includes bandwidth availability and roaming capability CONUS-wide. The proposed contract is for one base year and four option years. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered. Sources responding to this synopsis must indicate, in writing, whether they are large, small, disadvantaged and/or a women-owned business. For this acquisition, a concern will be considered small under SIC 4813 with size standard of 1500 employees and under NAICS 51331 and 51333. This requirement shall be a commercial, fixed price type contract. The solicitation will be released on or about October 26, 2001. The solicitation is only available electronically and may be viewed and downloaded from the Interagency Interactive Business Opportunities Page (IBOP) located at https://abop.monmouth.army.mil. The Government will conduct a pre-proposal conference and site visit on November 6, 2001 at 10690 S. Memorial Drive, Fort Drum, New York. The conference will be from 9:00-10:30 AM (approximately) and will be followed by a site visit from 10:30 to 12:00 noon. Offerors planning to attend are required to notify the Contracting Specialist, in writing, of all attendees' names (not to exceed three per company) prior to November 1, 2001. An e-mail response to the Contract Specialist is acceptable. Questions that are received prior to the conference will be posted on the IBOP. Questions generated as a result of the pre-proposal conference must be received before 1 November 2001. Written responses to offeror-generated questions will be provided to all Offerors.
