Description

The U. S. Naval War College has a requirement for a one-year membership in the Santa Fe Institute, a non-profit resear ch organization that uses multidisciplinary collaboration to study behavior and structure of complex systems, with emphasis on adaptations and learning. Areas of work include use of genetic algorithms, classifier systems, neural networks, genetic programming and other related machine learning methods. Naval War College representatives will participate in research visi ts, workshops, technical meetings and seminars, and receive copies of working papers and books resulting from these research programs. This purchase is considered sole source to Santa Fe Institute. Therefore, no solicitation will result from this announcement.
